I love to read about education, pedagogy, and development. Frustratingly, a lot of what I read was too boring, too long, or too drenched in Western viewpoints.

Luckily, I also love to WRITE about education, pedagogy, and development. Therefore, I figured I might as well share it with the online community. So here. Here it is. My very own education blog.

Zanzibar WanderingYes, it’s a strong academic tang to most of the stuff I post on here, but that’s because I studied international education. Now I’m even getting my PhD at the University of Oxford.

Fear not, though, I’m not all about sounding smart. I’m also a teacher, and have been for years. I know how frustrating it is to have policy makers declare solutions without ever having set foot in a classroom. Accordingly, I shall try to keep any know-it-all tendencies to a minimum.
